License Activation

ZK Digital uses offline, hardware-bound RSA digital signatures to enforce licenses without calling home.

1. Retrieve Server Machine Fingerprint

On your deployment server, run:

zkprobe --id

This returns a unique hardware fingerprint in the format: MCH-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

2. Generate License Certificate

Go to the Activation Portal:

1. Enter your Lemon Squeezy order activation code.
2. Enter your registered Company Name.
3. Paste the machine fingerprint.
4. Click Activate & Download License.

3. Install License

Place the downloaded zkdigital.license file into your server’s configuration directory:

sudo cp zkdigital.license /etc/zkdigital/
sudo systemctl restart zkdigital
